Mobile Network Engineering & Implementation encompasses the design, construction, optimization, and maintenance of cellular infrastructure, including 4G and 5G networks, as well as core networks. The focus is on radio frequency (RF) planning, security measures, and the integration of advanced technologies such as AI and Software-Defined Networking (SDN) to provide dependable, high-speed connectivity. This ranges from the physical base stations to virtualized core services, ensuring uninterrupted mobility for users.

Key Areas of Focus

  • This involves planning the placement of cell sites, antennas, and radio frequencies (RF), as well as managing interference to achieve optimal coverage and capacity, particularly with the implementation of 5G New Radio (NR) technology.
  • Generators: Providing a reliable backup power source during outages or as a primary source in remote locations.
  • This entails implementing various deployment models, such as macro and private 5G networks, as well as network slicing and integration with fixed and satellite networks.
  • To ensure network performance, drive tests and monitoring tools (e.g., ROS) are employed to measure performance metrics, identify and resolve issues, and fine-tune the network for optimal latency and reliability.
  • The incorporation of advanced technologies, such as Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Machine Learning (ML), is crucial for automating network processes and ensuring the security of 5G networks.
